Did you know that everything in our universe is energy – from our growing galaxy, to the burning stars, to the ever-changing planets? Bringing it closer to home, plants are energy, our bodies are energy, music is energy. Even inanimate objects such as a rock or a desk are energy.
Einstein said it himself “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it“.
Let’s start with the basics. There are two types of energy that everything in the world has – Kinetic Energy (KE) and Potential Energy (PE). Kinetic energy is movement of some form while potential energy is stored energy in a currently inanimate object. This is at least what is commonly agreed upon.
I am a big believer of the Law of Vibration, that everything, even physical, man-made objects, produce energy. After all, everything is made from atoms, which have electrons which move around the nucleus, and hence are always in movement at all times. I however am not a physicist, nor have I ever studied physics academically, but this is my personal opinion.
Getting back to energy, it cannot be created or destroyed, but merely changed. An example of how energy is constantly changing form would be: the sun releases light that travels to the Earth. That sunlight is absorbed by a plant that then grows and produces fruit. You come along and pick the berry off the plant and eat it, which in turn gives you more energy to continue picking more fruit. When done picking fruit, you decide to pick up the guitar and play some music, releasing energy out into the world as vibrational waves, otherwise known as music. Someone in the audience is listening to this music and it has a calming effect on them.
So now that we understand energy, let’s talk frequency. But to understand frequency, we have to understand vibration (don’t worry, I’ll make it quick). Vibration refers to movement, such as the atoms that move due to energy. Frequency is the rate at which that vibration moves. Once again, the easiest way to understand this is through music or sound waves. Deep, low sounds such as that of a drum have lower frequencies while high pitched sounds, like that of a bell, have higher frequencies. Objects that have KE therefore give out a frequency; humans, music, the sound of a river.
Let’s change directions. Have you ever heard of the Emotion Code? All emotions have their own natural frequency, created by our body language and tone of voice. When we feel shame or guilt, our muscles are constricted, we are low energy and generally want to hide in a corner and have the world forget about us. These emotions are very low on the frequency scale, hovering around 20 Hz, or in the red if measured on a color scale. When we experience feelings of joy or enlightenment, we shoot up to 600+ Hz and are up in the purples, with arms spread wide, a smile ear to ear and laughing or cheering. Note that the human body generally resonates at a whopping 7.5 Hz (how they measure this is unbeknownst to me).
So, why is all of this important? Have you ever heard that you should raise your vibration or your frequency to feel better, or to attract what you desire? I quoted Einstein at the beginning of this article but I intentionally left out the proceeding phrase. So here it is in full.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.”
He is basically saying to be what you want to attract. If you want to attract love, be loving. If you want peace in the world, be compassionate to others.
There are many ways to change your frequency. You can listen to music, eat certain foods, meditate, exercise, release your emotions (physically and through verbal communication), aromatherapy, sound healing, hypnosis or even carrying around certain crystals that match the energy you are healing.
The universe is made of energy and so it makes perfect sense that our environments reflect ourselves, our emotions. If you are unhappy where you are, you have to change it. You can seek help, but it all starts with your decision. Wether you believe any of this or not, the simple act of being open minded that this could indeed be true is good enough to start the transition of raising your vibration and making real change in your life.
