Embrace New Beginnings: New Moon Hypnotherapy Ritual

The New Moon is a perfect time to embrace new energy, welcome change and dispose of older energy that may not be serving you anymore. Similar to many Moon rituals, this is a time to clear negative or old energy, set your intentions for the next month, focus on your breath and become aware of your body and the energy flowing through you. In this ritual, we incorporate hypnosis to welcome new energy into our life. Below are some key points to help you prepare for your session.

  1. Find yourself a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for the full 75 minutes. Choose an area you will be comfortable. You can lay down with your torso and head slightly tilted up or you can sit in a chair with arm and head support.
  2. Have a glass of water, a blanket and a box of tissues nearby (we never know what will be released).
  3. If you can, avoid taking any stimulants or depressants, such as caffeine or alcohol, before the session.

That’s it! That is all that is required for this session. However, if you would like to take the ritual further, below are some suggestions that you can also set up in preparation for the ritual.

  • Smudge or cleanse the room
  • Light a candle
  • Perform the ritual outside or with an open window
  • Play some soft, comforting music (nature sounds, chakra frequencies etc)
  • Use crystals
  • Create an altar

Lastly, below is some information about the Moon that you may find interesting.

  • The moon represents Yin energy (female energy).
  • The moon symbolizes our inner world, our unconscious, the darkness within, things that are hidden.
  • In Astrology, the moon signifies our inner self, our emotions and feelings.
  • The moon represents the rhythm of time, cyclical in nature.

I look forward to our New Moon Hypnotherapy Ritual together, a time to embrace the new energy and release older energy back into the universe for it to be transformed.

“What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore? The moon is faithful to its nature and its power is never diminished.”
